VOTERS CHOICE ACT - A NEW WAY OF VOTING
DID YOU KNOW?
In 2016, the California Voter's Choice Act was passed to modernize elections and provide more flexibility and convenience for voters. Tuolumne County first used this new model to conduct the Primary elections in 2020 and will be using it again for the General election this Fall.
Vote centers will replace polling places, and you can register to vote and cast a provisional ballot the same day at any vote center.
Ballots in drop boxes are collected daily, under dual custody, and taken directly to the County Elections Office.
